Emisivity and its Impact on the Heat Conductivity
Gančev, Jan ; Hejátková, Edita (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
This work deals with the issue of emissivity and its impact on the heat dissipation. The first part describes the basics of thermal management, the issue of emissivity and its measurement. In the second, experimental part, are dedicated the emissivity values of examined specimens. These values are then used as initial conditions for the thermal simulation. In the last part are compared the measured results and the simulated results and is evaluated the impact of emissivity for the heat dissipation.
Lighting systems of vehicle
Žlebek, Michal ; Guzej, Michal (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this work is to explore the development of headlamps and focus on the problem of cooling. The first part is devoted to automotive lighting and to headlamps generally. It deals with history, manufactures, functions and basic construction of headlamps. The next section describes the types of headlamp and the procedure for its construction depending on used light source. In semifinal part can be found explanation of heat origin in LED and with the help of heat transfer is described its spreading. At the end is this work dealing with problems of cooling when using LEDs. It shows view of cooler and explaining how important is to use simulations during heat spreading counting.
Actual trends in heat exchangers production
Wajda, Jakub ; Mauder, Tomáš (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the content of heat exchangers in the automotive industry, the latest developments of trends and the potential direction of development of this branch of industry. The first part deals with the heat transfer and distribution of heat exchangers according to various criteria. The second section describes the types of cooling auto parts, together with the applicable types of heat exchangers. Follow developments in this area, including economic data about products and anticipated market developments.
Design and construction laboratory exercise with Peltier cell
Mejzlík, Michal ; Šlezingr, Jan (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
The introduction of this paper describes three thermoeletrical effects and their properties. It also deals with thermoelectrical cells, which are using Seebeck´s and Peltrier´s effects. The paper decribes principles how the Peltier´s cells work, their mathematical model, construction and practical use. The paper shows what kinds, shapes and output we can meet at the market and which kinds of parameters regulate their selection. The paper suggests the possibility to measure characteristic behaviour and quantity during laboratories tasks and their evaluations. At the conclusion is adduced the suggestion of laboratory task together with theoretically made pilot protocol.
